ENA’s upcoming drama “The Defects” has unveiled the first look at Yum Jung Ah’s character!
Based on a popular webtoon, “The Defects” is an action thriller about children who have been abandoned by their adoptive parents—and their fight for survival and revenge. The drama is directed by Oh Gi Hwan and written by Ahn So Jung.
In “The Defects,” Yum Jung Ah leaves behind her usual warmth to take on a ruthless and calculating character, marking a dramatic transformation from her previous roles.
Yum Jung Ah will star in the drama as Kim Se Hee, the chairwoman of a major hospital and the head of a charitable foundation. On the surface, she is a respected figure, but in reality, she leads an illegal adoption ring driven by a twisted belief that only superior genes deserve to survive. As the mastermind behind this disturbing operation, Yum Jung Ah is set to portray a chilling new kind of villain, one who exudes cold charisma and wears an unsettling smile.
“The Defects” is set to premiere on July 21 at 10 p.m. KST.
