NRL news 2025 | Bronson Garlick signs with South Sydney Rabbitohs; Souths player movement

Wayne Bennett’s South Sydney rebuild has continued with the signing of Melbourne’s Bronson Garlick from subsequent season on a two-year deal.

The signing of Garlick provides to the hooker shares on the Rabbitohs with Peter Mamouzelos, Siliva Havili and Brandon Smith all able to enjoying within the position. Havili’s contract runs out on the finish of this 12 months although.

Rabbitohs head of recruitment and retention, Mark Ellison, was joyful to have a neighborhood junior return to the membership.

“Bronson has been a bit of a journeyman over his career but he has found his way back home to the Rabbitohs for the next two years and we could not be happier to have him coming home,” he mentioned.

“He brings over 150 games of senior football experience to us and can play hooker, second row or middle, so he also gives us versatility. 

“He comes from a terrific household – his father Sean had the chance to captain the membership and his brother Jackson additionally performed – and we won’t wait to have him again within the fold with us over the subsequent two seasons. 

“We wish Bronson all the best for the remainder of the season with the Storm and we look forward to him  returning to us for pre-season training later this year.”

Garlick, who performed his junior league at South Jap Seagulls, debuted for Melbourne in 2023.

He is gone on to play 33 NRL video games.

Garlick joins Moala Graham-Taufa as a brand new recruit to the Rabbitohs subsequent season.

Since Bennett’s arrival was introduced, Euan Aitken, Lewis Dodd, Lachlan Hubner, Mikaele Ravalawa, Josh Schuster, Smith and Jayden Sullivan have all arrived – the latter on a mortgage deal.
