“Popular grocery store recalls water bottles sold in 12 states”
UNDATED (WKRC) – Dealer Joe’s was alerting clients a few recall of roughly 61,500 glass bottles of glowing water on account of potential cracking or harm, posing a laceration hazard.
The U.S. Client Product Security Fee (CPSC) announced the recall on Thursday, affecting Gerolsteiner bottles bought in 12 states from Dec. 27, 2024, to Jan. 28, 2025.
The states concerned within the recall had been Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. The water, manufactured in Germany, was bought for about $3.00 per 750-milliliter bottle, both individually or in instances of 15.
Dealer Joe’s said that the difficulty was recognized by analysis associated to bottle breakage throughout manufacturing, probably affecting 1% of bottles with particular lot codes. The retailer suggested, “If you have bottles with either lot code, please do not use them. We urge you to dispose of them carefully and go to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund.”
