Nick Jonas Talks ‘Wonderful’ Time Living in N.Y.C. with Daughter Malti (Exclusive)

Nick Jonas is loving exhibiting his daughter the massive metropolis.

The singer, 32, spoke with PEOPLE on the opening night time of his Broadway musical The Final 5 Years and shared that he is been having fun with dwelling in New York Metropolis along with his spouse, actress Priyanka Chopra, and their 2½-year-old daughter Malti Marie,

“She loves being in New York and I think this time for us as a family has been wonderful,” Jonas tells PEOPLE. “We’re so used to being in 10 different cities in 10 different days. And so to be in one place and have this time together has been really nice.”

As for if Malti’s been capable of see her dad in motion, Jonas shares that she has been to the theater and has been acquainting herself with the ins and outs of the area.

“We’ve been exploring a bit and keeping her active and busy,” the proud dad says. “We’re both obviously busy parents, but we’ve been finding time to spend time as a family and connect amidst our crazy schedules and it’s been lovely.”

Again in March, Jonas spoke with PEOPLE about what he is loving probably the most about being a dad to his toddler daughter.

“The best part about being a dad for me and balancing things like this work stuff — and this is hardly work — is that you could feel like your coolest self on top of the world, and she just doesn’t care at all,” the star mentioned with a smile.

“She wants to play Moana and Maui with me, and that means more to me than anything else, is that time with her. And just the fact that I’m just Dad when I’m home, it means a lot.”

A number of days earlier than talking with PEOPLE, Jonas shared a glimpse into his life as a “girl dad” sharing a selfie of himself sporting one among his daughter’s hairbows and a flower clip as pink balloons float within the background.
