Cho Yi Hyun Becomes Choo Young Woo’s Human Talisman In “Head Over Heels”

tvN’s “Head Over Heels” has shared new stills ahead of its upcoming episode!

“Head Over Heels” is a new fantasy romance drama about a boy who is fated to die and the young shaman who tries to rescue him from his fate. Cho Yi Hyun stars as Park Seong A, a high school student who leads a double life as a shaman by night. Choo Young Woo plays her first love Bae Gyeon U, who is plagued by bad luck and was born with the misfortune of a predestined death. Cha Kang Yoon plays Pyo Ji Ho, the only friend of Park Seong A that knows her secret.

In the last episode, Bae Gyeon U’s life took a new turn after the death of his grandmother Oh Ok Soon (Gil Hae Yeon), who had been his only source of comfort. Park Seong A, the “heavenly fairy,” rushed to his side, her determination to save him in her own way heightening expectations.

The newly released stills depict Park Seong A and Pyo Ji Ho protecting a grief-stricken Bae Gyeon U. While Bae Gyeon U sits alone at the empty funeral altar with no one to rely on, he is visited by his uncle (Kim Hee Chang). But instead of offering comfort, the uncle hurls harsh words—only to be stopped by Pyo Ji Ho. The photo below shows Ji Ho blocking Gyeon U’s uncle’s hand with a firm look on his face while a grieving Gyeon U stands silently with his head lowered.

Park Seong A is seen with tears welling in her eyes. It turns out a malicious spirit has latched onto the grief-stricken Bae Gyeon U. To drive away the death-bringing ghost, Park Seong A pulls out her secret weapon—a “human talisman,” said to be more effective than any paper charm.

Since the human talisman’s effect is activated through touch, Seong A is seen doing everything possible to make physical contact with Gyeon U. Whether she’s walking down the hallway or picking something up, her sudden and constant physical contact catches Gyeon U off guard.

The last image captures Bae Gyeon U with a bow, hinting at his return to archery. Viewers are curious about why Bae Gyeon U, who had given up archery due to continuous misfortune, is seen at the archery team’s training ground and what exciting changes Park Seong A’s “human talisman” strategy will bring.
