Brewers’ Yelich makes 1st career walk-off homer a grand slam

MILWAUKEE — Christian Yelich is beginning to discover his groove this season. Yelich hit the primary walk-off grand slam of his profession Tuesday evening, going deep within the tenth inning to carry the Milwaukee Brewers to a 5-1 win over the Boston Crimson Sox.

“Yeah, it took me quite a while to check off walk-off homer, so it was pretty cool,” stated Yelich, who’s in his thirteenth season, together with the final eight with the Brewers. “You know, walk-off homer, you’re winning the game either way, but grand slams are always cool.”
