“Watch: Park Bo Gum Drags Trouble With Him On Day One As A Cop In “Good Boy” Teaser”
JTBC’s upcoming drama “Good Boy” has launched a preview for its first episode!
“Good Boy” is a comic book motion drama that follows a bunch of former nationwide athletes—Yoon Dong Joo (Park Bo Gum), Ji Han Na (Kim So Hyun), Kim Jong Hyun (Lee Sang Yi), Go Man Sik (Heo Sung Tae), and Shin Jae Hong (Tae Won Suk)—who turn into law enforcement officials via a particular recruitment program. Swapping medals for badges, they tackle a world filled with corruption, deception, and injustice.
The newly launched preview opens with Yoon Dong Joo’s return to his hometown of Inseong Metropolis. He’s instantly met with hostility—publicly insulted by the violent crimes unit and dragged right into a disciplinary listening to. When Dong Joo excitedly tells Ji Han Na, “Starting today, I’ll be working at the police department—with you,” she coldly replies, “Not interested.” In the meantime, inside affairs officer Kim Jong Hyun finds himself in a clumsy reunion with Dong Joo—suggesting a love triangle could also be brewing throughout the drive.
The playful but turbulent chemistry between Dong Joo and his reluctant mentor Go Man Sik provides extra spice. Although Man Sik continuously yells, “Yoon Dong Joo, stay right there!” in frustration, he finally ends up kneeling earlier than the regional investigation unit, pleading for assist when Dong Joo faces a life-threatening disaster. But Dong Joo, unfazed, stays his cheerful and headstrong self.
